Sizing

Accurate measurements are crucial for a properly fitted garment.  Please take the time to look over the measuring instructions on the Measuring page before purchasing your garment. 

Keep in mind how you'd like the item to fit. A doublet or cincher 1 inch smaller than your measurements will likely still close on you, but will be tight and give you support. A doublet or cincher 2-3 inches smaller will leave a small separation between the front panels as is traditional, and a cincher 4 inches smaller will give you a very "cinched" look.

A Flared Navy & Sky Back Lacing Cincher

This cincher is done in brushed navy blue twill. It reverses to a lovely sky blue cotton blend. Together they make a mid weight cincher. The cut is more full in the hip to fit comfortably and flatteringly over full gathered skirts. This cincher is boned at the grommets, with fabric reinforcements at the ends of the boning for durability. Smooth, sturdy grommets give you great support without gapping.

A Flared Light Blue & Dark Blue Front Lacing Cincher

This cincher is done in a lovely light blue cotton blend. It reverses to a dark blue cotton blend. Together they make a light to mid weight cincher. The cut is more full in the hip to fit comfortably and flatteringly over full gathered skirts. This cincher is boned at the grommets, with fabric reinforcements at the ends of the boning for durability. Smooth, sturdy grommets give you great support without gapping.

Recommended for waists 27-30", depending on how you'd like it to look.

A Side Lacing Cincher in Floral Tapestry

This cincher is done in a beautiful floral tapestry with a background of cream and flowers in many shades of pinks, burgundies, purples, peaches, and greens. It reverses to olive cotton duck. Together they make a mid to heavy weight cincher. The cut is more full in the hip to fit comfortably and flatteringly over full gathered skirts. This cincher is boned at the grommets, with fabric reinforcements at the ends of the boning for durability. Smooth, sturdy grommets give you great support without gapping.

This cincher will close at a 27.5" inch waist.

Recommended for waists 28-32", depending on how you'd like it to look.

This cincher is done in a stunning gold diamond upholstery fabric. It reverses to olive cotton duck. Together they make a mid to heavy weight cincher. The cut is more full in the hip to fit comfortably and flatteringly over full gathered skirts. This cincher is boned at the grommets, with fabric reinforcements at the ends of the boning for durability. Smooth, sturdy grommets give you great support without gapping.

Recommended for waists 29-33", depending on how you'd like it to look.

A Flared Dark Blue & Light Blue Front Lacing Cincher

This cincher is done in a dark blue cotton blend. It reverses to a lovely light blue cotton blend. Together they make a light to mid weight cincher. The cut is more full in the hip to fit comfortably and flatteringly over full gathered skirts. This cincher is boned at the grommets, with fabric reinforcements at the ends of the boning for durability. Smooth, sturdy grommets give you great support without gapping.

This cincher will close at a 36" inch waist.

A Skulls & Roses Pirate Vest

This super fantastic vest is done in a skulls & roses print with black background, green leaves, thorny vines and red roses. It is lined in red satin. This vest is cut much like our bodices and offers a wonderfully fitted look along with the comfort of the flared hip design. The long tails in the back give this garment a wonderfully unique look!  This bodice has a row of grommets on each side as well as a double set in the front for super adjustability and some fun lacing possibilities.  There is boning at the side grommets.  

Recommended for bust sizes 30-38" & waists 24-30", depending on how you'd like it to look.

A Port Royal & Black Gypsy Vest

This vest will close at a 40" bust, and a 35" underbust.

A Red & Brown Gypsy Vest

This vest will close at a 42" bust, and a 37" underbust.
