The most basic and essential part of a Renaissance woman's wardrobe is the chemise. Ours are roomy and full. You will love how they feel!
These chemises can be worn on or off the shoulder in comfort. They gather with drawstring ribbon at the neck and sleeves (with the exception of the summer chemise). Beads at the ends of the ribbon keep it from slipping into the casing. Elastic is available at no extra charge, just let us know on your payment page. All seams are serged for maximum durability. Chemises and Bloomers make wonderfully comfortable pajamas, as well as proper underclothes for Renaissance wear. Try a flannel chemise with matching bloomers for super comfy night wear! The Bloomers and Chemise are fantastic! I just tried them on they fit wonderfully! The sleeves on the Chemise were just right! The bloomers are fantastic as well - everything looks so great! I'll be telling all my friends about your store!
Muslin Chemises These lovely chemises are done in soft white, natural, or tea-dyed (creamy tan) muslin. They're not flimsy or see-through, just the perfect weight for their purpose.
The large sized chemise is a roomy 90" around at the chest and is suitable for most folks. The regular size is about 70" around and great for folks that don't want quite as much blouse. If you are very small framed, you may prefer a small chemise - these measure about 50" around.
Basic Half Length Chemise: This chemise is hip length so that it won't come untucked during a hard day at faire. The sleeves are blousy, but not overdone. Check out different chemise options here! $25.00
Just a note to say that the 3 chemises and one pair of bloomers arrived. All of the chemises and the bloomers are beautifully made and the material is lovely and soft. My chemise arrived in plenty of time - even sooner than I'd expected - it arrived last Wednesday! Summer Chemise: This lightweight chemise can be done in either white or natural muslin. It is shirt-length with short sleeves. The neck and arms are gathered with elastic for comfort. The chemise can be worn on or off the shoulders. All seams are serged to prevent fray. The bottom is serged to reduce bulk and lay flat under your skirts. $20.00

Ribboned Chemise: This chemise makes a wonderful simple ritual gown. Ribbon is sewn around the neck and sleeves. Ribbon also dangles from the shoulders, mid arm, neck, and at the sleeve bottoms. When a skirt you do wear, you'll want protection from the breezy air. And when relaxing in your home, in comfort you'll want to roam. Consider this the perfect cure - you'll never want them off, we are sure! While these pants were designed to be worn under a skirt, they are also wonderful for just lounging around! Our basic muslin bloomers are available in white, natural, or tea-dyed (creamy tan). The waist is a hidden drawstring ribbon. They sport a 20 inch inseam and are open at the bottom for comfort. All seems are serged and straight stitched for strength.
